So this is probably one of the strangest messages I've sent but reading through your profile (yes all of it) I felt so compelled to reach out to you that it would've bothered me not to. You say you're awkward but your writing conveys such a confident, intelligent, honest and funny person that perhaps you are being a bit overly critical of yourself. I went through a pretty bad breakup myself last year. I wouldn't say I'm at the point where I couldn't comtemplate love ever again but it's definitely changed the way I look at things and trust people. I don't think online dating is a place where you fall in love anyway. I look at it more as a thing you do until life happens and you meet someone you really click with. I'm not really sure where I'm going with this but you seem so interesting to me that I wanted to write to you. I guess what I'm getting to is asking you out on a friend date if you're up for it. Don't worry I'm not looking for someone to commiserate with and share stories of exes. You just seem like you would be a fun person to hang out with and share some laughs despite your overwhelmingly extreme awkwardness.
